JP Haynie is a proud member of AEA and SAG-AFTRA, and holds an MFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Central Florida and a BA in Theatre from Mercer University.  Having grown up in the theatre with a fellow actor/brother (F. Michael Haynie) and actor/director/parents (Phil Haynie and Sylvia Haynie), JP has always lived around the arts.  Recently, JP has worked with Seaside Music Theater, Canterbury Theatre, American Family Theatre, Thin Air Theatre Company.  He was also recently nominated for the KC/ACTF Irene Ryan Award for his work in Romance, Romance (Alfred/Sam) at the University of Central Florida.  Favorite roles include The Producers (Leo Bloom), Pippin (Pippin), Les Miserables (Marius), The Fantasticks (Matt), and The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr abridged (Adam).
